Politics - Suspicious of State Officials' Assets

Position and service have similarities in dealing with a task in government, but the word service is also used to refer to a form of company that only focuses on public service, namely a service company or contract.

Becoming an official also basically only focuses on serving the community, not just his family, not just the party, not just the group, but the entire community, which has different ethnicities, races, classes or different religions.

In their service duties, officials certainly have many conflicts of interest, including personal needs and desires and those of their families. Consciously many officials who in the end have a lot of wealth, even piling up treasures in various assets. How to get it not a few who take the way of corruption.

In fact, an official whose wealth increases should be suspected, even though the official is known as a "clean" person (read also: https://www.profitbersih.id/en/artikel) In one story Umar bin Khattab even audited the wealth of his friend Amr bin Ash, because Amr bin Ash's wealth has increased since he served as Governor of Egypt.

Who does not know the cleanliness of Amr bin Ash and his services in the journey of the Muslims so far, but nevertheless Amr bin Ash needs to be audited, because he is an official, indiscriminately, the audit of assets is carried out even though it seems taboo at that time. Imagine from whom it seems that the audit of official assets begins with the principle of accountability? The answer is none other than the Companions of the Messenger of Allah, they have started and exemplified it.

Therefore, Muslims do not need to be surprised by the audit, the positions held by Muslims must be carried out as well as possible as well as dare to account for their property, so that public services can be more optimal and fair.
